2014 Here I Come

The entire week before and after Christmas I been applying for places that are hiring. I really want to find a better job with better pay. I am aware it will be a challenge to land an interview. I have to be demanding and following up on every place that I apply for. I even been updating my resume to match the places that I apply for.

What are my goals for 2014? Of course find a new job. I really want to find myself a girlfriend. I been searching and no luck on finding the right woman. I tried dating sites like OKCupid and no luck. The past few times I met up with women they tend to go back to the ex-boyfriend. I do not understand what I wrong with me. I am being myself and not a jerk.

Let hope 2014 treats me right.

Done the Impossible

Apologizing for not posting a blog for a long time

I have finally done the impossible. I have finished my last semester at San Francisco State University. I know for the fact that I did OK even though I felt like I was slacking off. I felt like the grades that will be posted in January does not matter to me anymore. All the matter that I care about is that I am done with SFSU and got the last two classes out of the way.

The Fall Semester was my toughest. I was on campus Tuesday and Thursday from 7am until 12:15pm then I was driving to Concord for Sam’s Club. The commute going to and from has taken a huge toll on me. For example I suffer pain on my upper right side of my body on my 33^rd birthday in October. I also was lacking on sleep. I was waking up early on the days that I needed to be on campus and sleeping very late. Doing assignments from two classes were tough because I was exhausting after getting off from work. It was also hard for me to get with classmates about the group projects for class. I had to rearrange my schedule to work with them. There were days that I did not have to go to work.

What will I miss about San Francisco State University? I can say that there will be no more early long commutes. I would also say that I did not expect to be an Asian American Studies major. I came to SFSU as a Journalism major but that change the following semester. Learning Asian American taught me a lot about what happen in San Francisco. I never knew anything about Chinatown having a Manilatown and being the home for Filipinos. I learn about Angel Island. There were a lot that I learn from taking AAS classes. I met a lot of people and had excellent professors.

My goal now that I am done with San Francisco State is applying for jobs. Where I am applying is anywhere in San Francisco. The city has a lot to offer me. I already apply for YouTube and a media studio off of Market Street. I need to keep on applying until I get a job. There is no giving up. It would be a waste of my diploma if I did not look for a job that is not retail. My time to move on is happening now.

End Of The Road

Sorry for taking long to post a blog. I been very busy with things in my life.

I am counting the days until the Fall Semester at San Francisco State University ends. I can finally say I will be a San Francisco State University graduate. Almost all the struggles and setbacks I could say that I will make it after all and there will be no stopping me now. I am passing all of my classes this semester. I just have to keep it up with the work and I will be done.

It has been a long few months. I been commuting a lot. There are days that I commute from Hercules to San Francisco then from there to Concord. It has been taking a lot of out me. Luckily I have the energy to do all of that. There are certain days that I do not have to go to Concord from San Francisco. There is even days that I do not have to go to either San Francisco or Concord.

What are my goals after graduation? I will for sure be looking for a new job. I think it is a good time to move onto better things in my life. Sam’s Club doesn’t need me anymore and I believe with a college degree I can find any job that I desire. I been working on my resume as of late. With the help from people at International Hotel Manilatown Center and San Francisco State University they can help me out with recommendation. I’m lucky to be associated with good people that are willing to help me out after I finish college. It good I met the right people that were willing to help me out.

I really want to continue posting videos on YouTube. As of late the videos that I have been posting aren’t great. It is just food videos that do not have a story behind it. I want to do video blogging but I am afraid what I say do not make any sense. I am trying my best to keep up to date with the blogs that I have now.

Wish me luck in December and let hope good news becomes the best news ever.

Making It Through

How are my Fall Semester classes going? I would have to say that they are doing well. The only problem that I have is doing the reading the day of the class. It is just that I do not have good time management. I go to SFSU Tuesday and Thursday and afterward I have to commute from San Francisco to Concord for Sam’s Club. I have no choice but to work the days that I am at SFSU. The department that I work for is short staff and I have to put a lot of my dedication to my job. I really need to put my effort on my education. I really want to graduate by the end of the 2013.

Time To Start All Over Again

What are my plans when Fall Semester begins on August 26? One thing I need to do is get my classes first. I cannot count down until I get the classes that I need to graduate. I know what class to take but I need to figure out which other class that I want to take. I just need two classes to graduate by December.

Starting all over is a pain but I have to do it. I was disappointed that I did not graduate. I am fortunate that I found out that I wasn’t going to graduate in May due to missing one more class. Not passing one class in Spring was a disappointment but getting the letter of denial from SFSU telling me I needed another class to graduate was horrible.

This is my final chance to finish the semester and graduate before 2013 is over. I can not afford to pay for another semester at SFSU. I refuse to give up. I have to finish 2013 with this.

Plans for my Nikon Cameras

If you have not heard I got a Nikon D5200 from Best Buy last Saturday. It is an amazing camera, 24 megapixel. I only got the camera that comes with the 18-55 lense because I got my old 55-200 lense from my brother last Friday.

Why did I get a Nikon D5200? I like how it is 24 megapixel and has the option to have a wireless adapter to transfer photos onto a smartphone. I always wanted to do videos where I could upload them onto Facebook and YouTube.

The results from the camera were great. I already gotten a lot of compliments on how good the results came out.

I own four Nikon cameras ranging from the D60 all the way to the D5200. How can I be able to use them all? Simple. I will have my S6300 on me all the time. The D60 and D5200 will be with me when I am doing events for Manilatown or other events that I will be attending. The S570 I will probably just be use whenever I can think of something to do with it. I do not want to sell it because I do not want it and I got plenty of SD cards.
