Michelle Lambert – Multi-Talented

Spending the first six months of 2023 watching this woman perform has been amazing. How can I describe a woman that can play the violin and guitar…all I can say is multi-talented. She can do it all and people love it. They enjoyed watching her performances which included dancing to the music. A five-star rating musician if Yelp allowed to rate performances.

After seeing advertisement on Facebook and Instagram I finally had the guts to watch her perform at Market & Main in Martinez in January. Small crowd on a Thursday Evening but it was still a great performance.

A few weeks later I saw her perform at Smith’s Landing Seafood Grill in Antioch which was a better performance and of course a football game was being shown on TV while she was performing.

The performance at Mike Hess Brewing in Walnut Creek in March was amazing. An outdoor performance with great weather and lots of people drinking and still paying attention to her performance.

I saw her performance at Bay Street Emeryville in April which wasn’t bad but a bit breezy. People still loved the performance including the people that were working at Bay Street.

Three days later was a surprise because she was at San Francisco State University (LCA Live at SFSU), the university college I attended in 2009 through 2013. SFSU students had a great chance to watch her perform and they did enjoy a great performance.

The next day I got to see Michelle perform at Wisegirl in Pleasant Hill. This place had the crowd to stop eating, get up, and dance while Michelle is performing. It was a crowded restaurant but the people dining there enjoyed her performance.

The following week I got to see Michelle perform at Monica’s Riverview in Antioch which is amazing because it is only a few feet away from Smith’s Landing Seafood Grill. A nice restaurant with a view of the water but I was paying attention to Michelle than what is outside and my food.

The one performance that I truly believe it is the best place for her to perform at happen to be at Lucca Bar & Grill in Benicia. I manage to check it out eleven days later after her Monica’s Riverview performance. Plenty of people at the Beer Garden watching her performance and even dancing to the music. This is perhaps the best venue that Michelle has performed at.

I had gone back to Smith’s Landing Seafood Grill (March), Wisegirl (May), and Lucca Bar & Grill (June) to see Michelle perform. It been nearly three years since I gone to places to see performances. It is worth the drive to go across the Bay Area just to see a great performance. Michelle Lambert is the musician that is worth watching.

$179 Mega Millions Winner

I bought $10 quick pick on Mega Millions and $10 quick pick on Powerball on Friday. When I check my lottery ticket on Sunday to see if I got any matching number I was impress that I got $179 from getting 3 + Mega on Mega Millions. I was stunned that I won a good amount of money and Café Tapioca (the place I got my ticket from) was surprise that I won.

Once I got the $179 I went to Wells Fargo Bank to deposit the money. I was not going to use the money to buy something right away.

 

If I won the jackpot on the Mega Millions and/or Powerball I would save the money. I would not blow the entire amount. I felt that saving the money would be important because I would be support for a lifetime. I am aware that people would be coming after me to tell me that they are a lost relative or someone from my past. People would be wanting money from me which I will avoid as much as possible.

I am still in dream street that I won a good amount of money from the Mega Millions.

Ukulenny Hula Hoop Restaurant July 11, 2021

I had a chance to watch Lendl San Jose aka Ukulenny perform at Hula Hoop Tiki Bar and Restaurant in South San Francisco July 11. 

I was expecting his performance to be outside the restaurant because the last time I saw him perform was in May which was held outdoor. Thank goodness it was held inside because it was cold outside to perform. 

Inside the restaurant was crowded. Thank goodness I was able to get a seat at the bar. His performance was great. When I saw his performance, I was sitting next to two people that brought their ukulele with them and perform while he was performing. I was impressed how people were getting involve with his performance. He surely has a crowd of ukulele players to come to see him perform. 

I’ll definitely be at Ukulenny next performance at Hula Hoop Tiki Bar and Restaurant.

Two Days Worth Of Watching Great Musicians Performed

I had a good two days within one week. I manage to see two great performance from two musician within a week. Back to back evening of seeing two musicians that I have followed for over five years. I was lucky to come see these two performances and nothing was going to stop me from seeing it.

On Wednesday I got to see Ukulenny perform at Off the Grid in Pleasant Hill. I will admit that it was a good night to see him perform. A lot of children join along with Ukulenny while he was signing. Ukulenny did have another person join him in the performance (It was the second time that I got to see him join in the performance at Off the Grid).

A good performance from Ukulenny on a beautiful Wednesday Night in Pleasant Hill.

Lily Holbrook

On Thursday I got to see Lily Holbrook perform at Amado’s in San Francisco (the first time that I have attended Amado’s). It was her first performance over a year and she has not lost her beat. Great performance from an amazing musician (I love it). I even got her latest album, The Girl Who Stayed Lost In The Woods.

Coming to Amado’s to see Lily Holbrook perform was worth the drive to come to San Francisco.

I had a chance to watch Ukulenny performing at Off the Grid in Pleasant Hill on January 29. It was worth the risk on coming out on a Wednesday Evening to watch him perform especially in the cold weather.

As always I manage to get a photo of his performance. The photo I took of him was OK. It is not the best photo I have taken of him. I am not a great photographer during the night since the photo comes out blurry.

I will continue to watch Ukulenny perform anywhere in the Bay Area.

2020 and Beyond

2020 is the new decade. It is start of a new decade which we don’t know what will occurred. January is the first month of the new year. There are going to be a lot of events that will occur in 2020. We will see what 2020 will bring us.

Here are my plans for the first month and beyond 2020.

Planet Loop performing at Off the Grid Alameda July 27, 2019

Planet Loop

This is a band that I followed from Off the Grid at the beginning of 2014. I have seen this band perform at Jupiter Brewery in Berkeley and Off the Grid in Alameda. I have followed their music for over five years. I been taking photos of their performances.

I will see this band perform once again at Off the Grid Alameda January 18. Hopefully I can attend other venue that this band performs at.

Ukulenny

Lendl San Jose aka Ukulenny has been a musician that I been following since April 2013. He is also part of the duo The Bob and Lenny Show with Robert Frazier. He teaches ukulele courses at the Albany Community Center.

I will see him perform again either solo or with Robert Frazier at Off the Grid, Hula Hoops Restaurant & Tiki Bar in South San Francisco, Oakland Museum of California, or any venue in the Bay Area.

Amazon Prime Now

I been with the company since April 2019. I work two different Whole Foods Market location (Walnut Creek and Berkeley). I learn a lot from working with the company for the last nine/ten months.

My goal with the company is to teach the new hires how to work with Amazon Prime Now. I feel like I can teach these new hires the do’s and don’ts of what to do. I gain so much knowledge from working two location that I feel that I can do a lot more. I know I want to go higher with the company. I want to work in home office and get a higher position with the company.

I know I can do a lot more with my life. I am still young and healthy which I know I can do more in life. I’ll still be a photographer, support Planet Loop, Ukulenny, Bob and Lenny Show, Jeremy Hatch, and Lily Holbrook. There is more that I can do with myself and if I continue to stay positive eventually something big will happen to me.

Amazon Prime Now Shopper

It has been awhile since I posted a blog. I been very busy with Amazon Prime Now which I been working longer hours with more days to work. I have not done any Photography due to working.

In April of this year I got hired as an Amazon Prime Now Shopper doing the online grocery for Whole Foods Market. At the same time I was working at Sam’s Club. I kept both jobs until June when I quit Sam’s Club to focus more on Amazon Prime Now. In September I got another location in Berkeley which means I am working two locations with more hours. Two Days in Walnut Creek and Two Days in Berkeley. I manage to be flexible in working two locations.

You must be wondering what is Amazon Prime Now? What I do is do the online grocery shopping inside a Whole Foods Market. I get an order which needs to be completed at a certain time and have a driver pick up the order to be deliver to the customer. It can be a tiring job but I enjoy doing the job. What is hard about the job is making sure I package the order in the bag without making it bulky for the driver to pick it up. I make sure that the order is perfectly bag with it sealed properly. I would not say it is an easy job but I love a challenge.

Has Amazon Prime Now taken me away from having a life away from work? It has kept me busy from doing other activity that I want to do like going to Off the Grid, Oakland Museum of California, and other things. When I am not working I am just at home resting and regaining my energy. I do want to continue doing Photography on the side but I need to focus on being an Amazon Prime Now Shopper and working as much hours as possible.

Working as an Amazon Prime Now Shopper makes me feel better about myself. I take responsibility of how to work and I don’t have anyone judging me how I work. If I have co-workers that don’t like how I work I just ignore it and inform my manager about complaints my co-workers has about me. It is a job that I enjoy doing.

I am making sure that the work that I do as an Amazon Prime Now Shopper will pay off which I will move up to a higher position in the company. I know that I can move up in the company and I have the ability to do it.
