2014 comes to a close. 2015 better be good to me. I have spent the entire 2014 looking for a job and I was unsuccessful in landing one. Everyday I been looking on the Internet to see what places were hiring. I could have just got outside to see who is hiring or even use a recruiter to help me find a job. I am just trying to get out of retail badly. I would love to do something that involves Asian American.
Ever since I graduated from San Francisco State University last year I been trying my best to find a job. I thought graduating from college would be easy for me to land a job. I ask students who have graduated if they can give me advices on looking for a job. I would not expect it would take me longer to find a job.
I truly want to get out of Sam’s Club. Eight years is enough for me. I got the experience in customer service. What else do I need to prove to get a new job. I feel like I am a joke to places that I apply for. I do mean it when I want to move on with my life. I am just not getting the attention of these places I apply for. I want to prove to them that I worth it. I want to be the person that they should hire. I really mean it and I want to prove them wrong.
Let hope 2015 will give me what I want.

![]() | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Wrote this on the paper wall at the Oakland Museum of California on Friday October 10 during Off the Grid: Lake Merritt (Friday Dinner) |
Three Lunch Market, Sixteen Dinner Markets, Twenty Different Markets,
Fifteen Days Straight of attending Off the Gird. I have defeated my other
streak of seven days straight of Off the Grid from Friday August 22 through Thursday

Here are the dates and location of all of the Off the Grid markets that
I have attended.

I will doubt I can ever duplicate this awesome record. It was a difficult
challenge to do this. Exhausted from commuting from different markets across
the Bay Area. They did appreciate that I was able to come to their market
daily. Maybe it was too much but it was worth it.

Off the Grid - An All Time Record
Twelve markets in seven days, three markets in on day (one
lunch market and two dinner markets), and three days of attending two markets.
I have hit a all time Off the Grid record. It is something that I can not
duplicate and it is something that I would not do again.
Here are the list of markets that I attended in seven days
Friday August 22nd
Off the Grid: Lake Merritt (Friday Dinner)
Saturday August 23rd
Off the Grid: Concord (Saturday Lunch)
Sunday August 24th
Off the Grid: Pleasanton (Sunday Lunch)
Off the Grid: North Berkeley (Sunday Dinner)
Monday August 25th
Off the Grid: Hayward (Monday Dinner)
Off the Grid: Uptown Oakland (Monday Dinner)
Tuesday August 26th
Off the Grid: Burlingame (Tuesday Dinner)
Wednesday August 27th
Off the Grid: Emeryville (Wednesday Lunch)
Off the Grid: El Cerrito (Wednesday Dinner)
Off the Grid: Pleasant Hill (Wednesday Dinner)
Thursday August 28th
Off the Grid: Millbrae (Thursday Dinner)
Off the Grid: Upper Haight (Thursday Dinner)
Why did I attend these markets and do something ridiculous?
I just felt like I was home attending these markets and I knew these people
that serve the city. These people that is involve with Off the Grid are my
friends. I have gotten to know a lot of people and I felt like I should support
them doing their job.
I hope my seven day attendance will get the attention of Off
the Grid. I truly want to work with them instead of eating. I can do a lot for
them and they would appreciate my help. I been applying every month and no luck
on a interview. I attend their market and give them support. Let hope for the
best will happen sooner.

Keeping The Faith
It has been a long time since I posted a blog. I been having problems on what to write about.
I
been job searching for six months now and I have not landed a job yet. I feel
like my qualifications does not fit the description on the jobs that I been
applying for. I been revising my resume every time I apply for a job. Maybe my
resume is not the way that employers see. I do not have the right answer to my
job searching problems.
I
want to move on with my life. I got my Bachelor of Arts in Asian American
Studies. I would expect places would be dying to get a college graduate. I been
applying to places that is looking for a college graduate. I just think I have
the skills that the place is looking for. Maybe I should try harder and keep in
contact with places that I apply for. I just wish it was easy to get a job
right away.
I
want to leave Sam’s Club badly. The place is going downhill from my view. I
know I can do better and by finding a better job is the right choice. I do have
a great job experience due to staying at a job for more than five years. It is
time for me to change. Most of my co-workers are allowing me to use them as
reference whenever I apply for a job.
I
am not losing my faith. I have to stay positive until I get the job that I
wanted. I refuse to allow bad luck to get to me. It will happen shortly. I know
that I can do it.
