Why I deserve to be Off the Grid

I spend a lot of time attending Off the Grid events. Last Saturday I was at the Concord event. Monday night I was in Berkeley. Wednesday night I was in El Cerrito. Then on Thursday evening I was at the San Francisco one in Upper Haight. I swear I need to stop stalking them.

I enjoy attending Off the Grid events. I love trying different food trucks. A lot of the vendors already know me especially the people that work with Off the Grid.

The sad news is that they already hired a Social Media Manager. The good news is that I am still allow to attend their events, take pictures, and share it with them.

Here is the reason why I deserve to be involve with Off the Grid. I been helping them post pictures of the event. I attend the events that are held in the Bay Area. I travel far distance just to attend their events. I enjoy the local music artist and bands that perform there. Most of the artist and bands are OK with me recording them performance. I already gotten thank you from them.

I am not giving up hope. I will get their attendance and hope to get a job with them.

Creating a Great Blog and Video Blog

I had a few people asking me how I create a great blog, both written and video. The blogs that I have on Blogger and Tumblr are great. The video blog is posted on YouTube.

I use two different version of Microsoft Word. I use both 2011 (Mac version) and 2012 (Windows version) version. The font I use is Times New Roman size 12. It is a default setting font that I use and I do not bother changing the size and font type.

I use Adobe Photoshop Elements on both Mac and Windows version to edit my photos. Most of the times I just upload the photos on Facebook, Blogger, and Tumblr without editing.

The program that I use to edit my videos are Adobe Premiere Elements, IMovie, and Windows Movie Maker. Most of the time I just upload the videos on YouTube straight from the camera without editing.

Pretty much that is how I create an awesome blog, written and video. Hopefully no one steals my idea.

Applying, Getting Calls Back, and No Job

I posted my resume on Careerbuilder and Monster and on Monday I got a call from a company that was interested in interviewing for a job. The place that was interested in me is associated with AT&T dealing with their customers. The position was to be a manager.

I had to turn it down because I felt that I could not handle the job. It is good that the company is interested in interviewing me for a management job. My weakness is that I cannot deal with angry people. They do not want to hear that that there is nothing that could be done. All I could do is help them out with their situation but there is nothing I could do if it cannot be resolved.

I been getting a lot of emails from company that are interested in interviewing me. There is only one problem. It is the company that I am not interested in. The jobs that are emailing me are insurance businesses. I am not interested in working for an insurance company.

I am applying for places that I am interested in but no call back. I even call the places that I apply for and they are still looking through applications. All I could do is stay patience and wait for a call from them for an interview.

My blogs has not been quite interesting. I am having a hard time debating what to write about. Also my videos on YouTube have been boring. The videos that I have posted are food. I am trying to avoid posting food porn.

It Is Over. I Did It!

As of Monday January 6, 2014 at 2:00pm I got my grades from both classes that I taken Fall 2013 and I am officially done with San Francisco State University. I have graduated from San Francisco State University with a GPA over 2.0..at least a 2.5 something GPA. I have to wait for my Bachelor of Arts diploma in May.

It is amazing how long it took me to finally graduate from San Francisco State University and how many people did not have any faith in me. It is just sad on the people that have negativity toward me that I could not finish now are in complete shock that I did it. It took me a full four years to complete every course that I needed to take to graduate. There were times that I was on academic probation but I manage to get out of it within a semester.

What is next for me? My mission now is to look for a new job. I want to leave Sam’s Club badly. It is time for me to move up in the world and get paid better. It will be hard to find a job with a degree in Asian American Studies. I know that I will have to apply for jobs that may not be in my degree but I would have to see jobs that I qualify for. I will have to apply for anything and see if I get the interview and get the job.
