Amazon Prime Now Shopper

It has been awhile since I posted a blog. I been very busy with Amazon Prime Now which I been working longer hours with more days to work. I have not done any Photography due to working.

In April of this year I got hired as an Amazon Prime Now Shopper doing the online grocery for Whole Foods Market. At the same time I was working at Sam’s Club. I kept both jobs until June when I quit Sam’s Club to focus more on Amazon Prime Now. In September I got another location in Berkeley which means I am working two locations with more hours. Two Days in Walnut Creek and Two Days in Berkeley. I manage to be flexible in working two locations.

You must be wondering what is Amazon Prime Now? What I do is do the online grocery shopping inside a Whole Foods Market. I get an order which needs to be completed at a certain time and have a driver pick up the order to be deliver to the customer. It can be a tiring job but I enjoy doing the job. What is hard about the job is making sure I package the order in the bag without making it bulky for the driver to pick it up. I make sure that the order is perfectly bag with it sealed properly. I would not say it is an easy job but I love a challenge.

Has Amazon Prime Now taken me away from having a life away from work? It has kept me busy from doing other activity that I want to do like going to Off the Grid, Oakland Museum of California, and other things. When I am not working I am just at home resting and regaining my energy. I do want to continue doing Photography on the side but I need to focus on being an Amazon Prime Now Shopper and working as much hours as possible.

Working as an Amazon Prime Now Shopper makes me feel better about myself. I take responsibility of how to work and I don’t have anyone judging me how I work. If I have co-workers that don’t like how I work I just ignore it and inform my manager about complaints my co-workers has about me. It is a job that I enjoy doing.

I am making sure that the work that I do as an Amazon Prime Now Shopper will pay off which I will move up to a higher position in the company. I know that I can move up in the company and I have the ability to do it.

Three Weeks of Planet Loop Performance

I have done the impossible. I have seen Planet Loop perform at Off the Grid in a three weeks span. I do not think I have done this before. I have gone weekly to the same Off the Grid market but three weeks of the same music performance is something that has never done before. Planet Loop perform at Off the Grid in Cerrito three weeks straight which is unheard from. Never has the same music performance occur at the same Off the Grid market three weeks straight. I never seen it happen but I have done the impossible of watching them perform three weeks straight.

Off the Grid El Cerrito Wednesday July 24, 2019

I was aware that Planet Loop was going to perform at this location. I was expecting to attend this market because I enjoy watching their performance. Thankfully it was a good day to be outside watching them perform. I also got a first row seat to watch them perform.

Off the Grid Alameda Saturday July 27, 2019

Thankfully I was off from work that day to go down to Alameda South Shore Center to see Planet Loop perform. I had to take an alternative route to get down there due to the main street being closed down for an event. I enjoy coming down to Alameda to see them perform. I will said that I was avoiding the sun the entire time by staying in the shade of the food truck plus going inside Panera Bread. If there was tents available to sit down I would take advantage of it but I kept walking around making sure I was not tanned by the sun.


Off the Grid El Cerrito Wednesday July 31, 2019

This was an unexpected performance. Originally they were not schedule to perform that day but they were added on last minute. Thankfully I was available that day to come to El Cerrito to watch them perform (I was still going to come anyways). Front row seated at this market for the second week straight


Off the Grid El Cerrito Wednesday August 7, 2019

Third week straight coming to the same market on the Wednesday. They were schedule to perform at that market. Oddly that day Off the Grid was trying out the new tables and stools (no folded chairs were set up for the market). I was able to get a good view of their performance.

To conclude this I was able to attend all four performances of Planet Loop at Off the Grid. All four times I attended I was able to get pictures from the performance. It was a great journey for me to attend all these performances at Off the Grid.

Will Planet Loop hit another three week straight performing at Off the Grid again? Time will only tell in the future.

Within one week I have seen this musician perform in three different places. I have seen Lendl San Jose aka Ukulenny perform at Albany Memorial Park July 4, Bay Street Emeryville July 6, and Off the Grid in Pleasant Hill July 10. I have mange to capture photos from all three performances.

I will say that every time I get a photo of Ukulenny performance I have the Midas touch. I enjoy attending his performance anywhere in the Bay Area. I am willing to go a far distance to watch him perform.

This isn’t the first time that I have seen Ukulenny perform three times in one week. In December 2018 I have seen him perform in Emeryville Public Market, Off the Grid in El Cerrito, and Hula Hoop in South San Francisco. It is amazing that I was able to repeat it. I will say that I am his biggest fan.

Ukulenny Flash Mob Albany Memorial Park July 4, 2019

His performance on July 4 at Albany Memorial Park was amazing. He had a group of ukulele players with him. The park had a big turn out but at the same time it was a 4th of July celebration with zip-lining, wall climbing, and food trucks serving people. There were people that saw his performance which they enjoyed. 

His performance on July 6 at Bay Street Emeryville was great. He had Robert Frazier with him which became the Bob and Lenny Show. The crowd was great. People did stop by and sat down to watch their performance. I did manage to get a video of their performance. 

Off the Grid in Pleasant Hill July 10 was OK. The weather was great in Pleasant Hill. Children did join in the fun of his performance. He did have a great performance as always. 

All three of his performances were great. He did a fantastic job going the distance to perform at all these places. People still came, stop by to see him perform, and he talk to people between performances.  

Definitely will continue to show my support for Ukulenny!

Update On Me For The Past Few Month

I have not written a blog for such a long time. I just been too busy with work that I have not bother writing anything up for month now. 

What have I been up to? I got a job with Amazon in April doing the online grocery shopping for Whole Foods. It is a relaxing job and I am enjoying it. I am very helpful and my co-workers find me unique.

I was working at Amazon the exact same time that I was at Sam’s Club. Originally, I was supposed to quit Sam’s Club in April but I kept that job just to be sure that Amazon was perfect before I quit with them. I would be working at Sam’s Club in the morning and be at Amazon in the afternoon. It was OK for the first month but it was starting to take a toll on my mental. I was drain out of energy on my day off when I was not at both places.

Reason why I wanted to work for Amazon was a career change. I needed a job that did not have too much stress plus a career boost where I can get promotion for the hard work. Being a Sam’s Club for 12 years I have already done much where I can move up in the company ladder. It was time for a change in which I got a job with Amazon in which I qualify for benefits with 30 days of employment.

I quit Sam’s Club in June to focus more with Amazon. I will say that focusing with Amazon surely paid off. I contacted my manager at Amazon that I enjoy working with the company and she appreciate the positive feedback. I learn very quickly with the company the first week of employment. I feel like I will definitely move up with the company within a year in which I could be working in their main offices in San Francisco.

I definitely want to move up to a higher position. Work five days a week with long hours that will pay off for the hard work. I know I can do the job if I stay on track. I know what I want out of life.

Ukulenny at Hula Hoops 1.19.19

Every time I take a photo of him, I get more better. I just have this Midas touch. It is probably the line I will use every time I take a picture of Ukulenny performance.

I manage to attend his performance at Hula Hoops Restaurant & Tiki Bar in South San Francisco January 19. An hour drive from Concord to South San Francisco was worth it. I made his performance on time without having a hard time finding parking.

I enjoyed his performance which I stayed for the two hours. A lot of people attended the restaurant and I manage to get a seat at the bar with Grilled Pork BBQ thanks to Ukulenny. I will say that this performance was much better than the other one from earlier this month due to me moving around taking a picture of him while he was performing. I will say that I had a lot of room to move around compare to earlier in the month which I was limited with space to move.

It is amazing that I was able to come see his performance at Hula Hoops within the same month. It shows you how much of a fan and friend to Ukulenny. I am willing to go a far distance to watch him perform.

I will do my best to attend more of his performance as long I can find the time. I got the time to attend his performance but it is location where he is performing. This man is definitely Bay Area Talent.

Planet Loop - Five Years of Following Their Music

Before there was Lily Holbrook and Ukulenny, there was Carrie Jahde and Michael Schaller of Planet Loop.

Here is band that I been following for five years now. I discover Planet Loop at Off the Grid in El Cerrito January 2014. I been watching them perform in El Cerrito and Alameda Off the Grid. I have seen them perform at Jupiter in Berkeley and Beercafe & Bottleshop in Walnut Creek. Every month I would catch this band perform at Off the Grid in El Cerrito.

Carrie Jahde and Michael Schaller are Planet Loop. An instrumental band that is amazing. A band that been performing at Off the Grid for a while. They perform elsewhere like Drake’s Brewery Taproom in San Leandro, Cornerstone Taproom in Berkeley, and Jupiter Brewery in Berkeley.

I will say that Planet Loop was the first band that I follow and watch them perform monthly. Before I started to watch Lily Holbrook and Rafael Sarria I watch Planet Loop. Heartache Sisters and Borrowed Trouble were another band that I watch perform at Off the Grid but it was Planet Loop that I saw on a monthly basis. Carrie and Michael appreciate that I show up monthly at Off the Grid to watch them perform.

Ever since January 2014 I have plenty of photos of Planet Loop on Facebook and Instagram including video of their performance on YouTube. They are what made my Facebook page get people’s attention and YouTube Channel most watch.

I will continue to show support to Planet Loop. I just need to see them perform anywhere else beside Off the Grid.

Ukulenny Hula Hoops 01.04.19

I manage to attend Ukulenny performance at Hula Hoops Restaurant & Tiki Bar in South San Francisco after I got off from work. An hour drive from Concord to South San Francisco which was great due to less congestive traffic. I was able to go to Costco Business Center in South San Francisco and Costco near San Francisco International Airport before seeing his performance at 7 (Costco Hot Dog are amazing). I was unable to get a seat at Hula Hoops but I was able to get a snack at Quickly and coffee at Philz.

I enjoyed Ukulenny performance which I stayed for two hours. It was a great performance which a lot of people that were at the restaurant enjoyed it. His performance was amazing compare to the others that I have attend. This guy was playing multiple instrument. A musician that can do it all.

I will admit it was a far distance to cross the Bay Bridge to see Ukulenny performing. I should watch him perform if he was nearby like El Cerrito or Pleasant Hill but driving a far distance with traffic is worth the drive. He is a great musician with a lot of talent. Thankfully he is performing constantly.

I will attend more of Ukulenny performance in the future as long I can find the time to commute a far distance. This man is a Bay Area Talent
