Bangkok Kitchen

During my Spring Break away from San Francisco State University I decided to try out a Thai restaurant around where I live. There is this one Thai restaurant that I go to a lot. It is not far from where I work at (Sam’s Club). Actually this location is not far from a movie theatre (Brenden Theatre).

I ate at the Bangkok Kitchen in Concord. It is a small restaurant with great service. My server knows me very well due to the place shopping at my job. What amazing about this restaurant is that it is next door across from another Thai restaurant, Woung Luang Thai Cuisine. I chose Bangkok Kitchen over Woung Luang Thai is because of the prices, service, and great food.

I basically ate at this location twice in one week (Sunday and Tuesday). What I had on Sunday for dinner was Gai Kra Tiem. It is marinated chicken with garlic and black peppers on a bed of lettuce and stir-fried mushroom. It was delicious. The sad news was that I added way too many chili in my food. It made my lips burn and I kept on drinking water due to the hotness. The server gave me Coconut Pineapple Ice Cream on the house.

I try the place again on Tuesday for lunch. I had their special lunch, which was Pineapple Curry. What was in it was mild Thai yellow curry with coconut mile, potatoes, carrots, and onions with chicken and prawns. It was yummy in my tummy. For dessert was Fried Banana with Ice Cream.

Reviewing this restaurant I would give it a perfect five stars. I like how it has a website to view the menu. The location is convenience since it is near the movie theatre (three parking garages since it is located in a busy area). The service was wonderful. I’ll definitely come back here again.
